Bridport Bay Inn Bistro & Woodfired Pizza
This light and breezy bistro in Bridport Bay Inn on the main street is always buzzing, especially in the summer holiday season. After a day at the beach you and the kids will love their wood-fired pizza, or for a more civilised dinner take an alfresco table on the Captain’s Deck and check out the long list of seafood and game dishes. There’s chunky seafood chowder, homemade venison spring rolls to dip in plum sauce or barbecued quail with sweet slow-cooked onion, and that’s just for starters. Heading up the main course is Tasmania’s exquisite blue-eye trevalla; here they serve it succulently grilled and doused with citrus and white wine sauce.
