Bronte Lagoon camping area
Campsite
Bronte Lagoon is a trout-stocked lake beside the Lake Hwy, and one of the most treasured fly-fishing waters in Tasmania. Camping is near the boat ramp and on the far side of the dam wall. Because this is Hydro Tasmania, land stays are limited to 7 days and there are no facilities so campers need to be self-sufficient, bringing their own water, firewood and fuel stoves. To get here, turn off the A10 highway at the signs and travel 2 km to the boat ramp.
