Werona Heritage Accommodation
Trevallyn’s steep hillside streets have a fine collection of beautiful Federation mansions and Werona is one of the loveliest. It is a graceful and ornate two-storey 1908 house that has been restored to its former glory and now operates as a heritage B&B. Launceston’s CBD and the spectacular Cataract Gorge are within walking distance, but chances are you’ll want to spend time soaking up some of Werona’s opulence and romance. Besides the billiard room with its pianola and the beautiful dining room, each of the seven ensuite rooms has its own decor; some have four-poster beds, others are wrought iron and brass, and all have lavish fabrics, elegant timber furniture and lovely views.
