Tiny Weldborough (blink and you’d miss it) has shaded green camping sites with good amenities out the back of its delightful historic pub. Before you get too comfortable with a cold beer in the pub, be sure to have a look at the ancient myrtle and fern forest at the Weldborough Pass Scenic Reserve, or take to a mountain bike on the 14 km Blue Tier track down to the campground. Bring your own firewood. Weldborough is 42 km inland from St Helens on the Tasman Hwy A3.
