Hobnobs Coffee Shop & Deli
Restaurant/cafe
In the heart of Westbury, this fine à la carte restaurant comes to life three nights a week in a beautifully restored National Trust–listed building. Cream walls, blue drapes, French doors, polished Tasmanian oak floors and open wood fires create a sophisticated, provincial ambience. Their loyal clientele is catered for in fine style with a short but innovative menu that changes weekly – they’re probably up to number 300 by now. Flavours are European and Asian-influenced, with appetisers of Asian soups, terrines and home-cured gravlax sitting with mains of classic French casseroles, grilled King Island beef or Indonesian-style Tasmanian seafood. Sundays are celebrated with a traditional three-course roast lunch, followed by live entertainment and afternoon teas.
