Rialto Gallery Restaurant
This cosy art-filled place is a long-stayer in the Burnie restaurant scene and one of the most popular eateries in town. You always have to book ahead for a table but it’s well worth the trouble. Over the years their reputation has grown and there’s a regular clientele addicted to their fix of beautifully cooked Italian staples. It’s all here – melt-in-your-mouth veal scaloppini and, as some describe it, the best spaghetti Bolognese you’ll ever have. There are wood-fired pizza and a great wine list with plenty of reds by the glass or you can bring your own. It all makes for a fabulous night of great Italian hospitality and brilliant food.
