Discovery Holiday Park Cradle Mountain Campground

Campsite

This is the only camping area at Cradle Mountain, so it gets busy in summer and bookings are essential. Sites are in bush alcoves 2 km outside the park (a Parks Pass is not needed). Most people are here to see the awe-inspiring national park but there are also horserides, ATVs and night-time spotlight tours on offer. This alpine country is notorious for its rapidly changeable weather so even in summer you’ll need to be equipped for rain and snow. The route is signposted from Sheffield. Take the C136 to Moina, turn left onto the C132 and left again after 21 km. The campground is 3 km along on the right.
