Historic Hawley House is a memorable place to stay. Slightly eccentric, in a nice way, it has a Gone with the Wind–style dining room and an outside rooftop bath where you can soak in some bubbles for a spot of stargazing. The 150-hectare property also has peacock lawns, water gardens, a vineyard and a wildlife reserve. The main house has a range of lovely ensuite bedrooms and The Stables has loft rooms with balconies and ground-floor rooms with spas. The Vineyard Pavilion is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house set in the vineyard and features a giant four-poster bed. Pets are welcome too.
