Moby Dicks Breakfast Bar
Whether you’re heading into the Roaring 40s at the western edge of Tasmania, south to the deep dark forests of the Tarkine or just moseying around Stanley for the day, you’ll need a nutritious start. Moby Dicks are the specialists at breakfast because that’s all they do. Opening at 7.30am, they have a menu devoted to grills, light choices and eggs. For those with an appetite as big as The Nut there’s a big breakfast of bacon, eggs, sausages, tomato and sautéed mushrooms on toast – and for the rest of us who don’t have hollow legs, there are omelettes, pancakes, waffles and freshly baked buttermilk muffins. The essentials are here too: good coffee and big pots of tea.
