The Source Restaurant
Set among Moorilla Estate’s riverside vines, The Source Restaurant is a celebration of nature’s bounty. Entry to this contemporary, glass-walled restaurant is dramatic, whether you arrive by road or river, as the ceiling over the entrance staircase is covered by John Olsen’s 6-metre painted tribute to the Spanish sun. Chef John Harris sources the best of the best from Tasmania’s finest boutique farms, including Huon rabbit, north-west beef, Crofton Lea Farm rare-breed pork and Blue Hills honey. His innovative menu tempts diners with seasonal sample plates matched to Moorilla wines. For a dramatic finale try the cioccolati plate – a threesome of chocolate delights.
