Food critics consistently applaud this contemporary casual eatery, and for good reason. There’s no set menu because dishes are inspired by the day, the season and the abundance of local produce. Sometimes that means a grower bringing the best they have to the cafe door. These wonderful ingredients are fashioned into simple, perfectly cooked dishes. Bread is baked from a sourdough starter, pizza are simple and crisp, and their legendary pies are full flavoured and meaty. Two standout dishes are the Indonesian-style spicy coconut beef curry and the mushroom tart. Desserts and coffee are luscious here too.
