Shipwrights Point Regatta Ground and Recreation Reserve
Campsite
Within an hour’s drive from both the Tahune AirWalk and Hastings Caves, this informal foreshore camping area has plenty of room for the kids to run around, as well as a small playground to keep them occupied. The jetty nearby offers good fishing and there’s a boat launch ramp here too. The facilities are basic but there’s the convenience of a dump point. Turn off the Huon Hwy on a sweeping bend 1 km north of Port Huon. A short access track leads to the campsites. Maximum stay is 4 days.
