Seated beneath the lofty hand-painted ceilings of beautiful Huon Manor, the elegant surroundings create a refined and charming ambience for special-occasion dining. Among the mainly seafood dishes the style is traditional European, but there are international flavours here too. The blue-eye trevalla comes with a delicate Cajun-spiced crust and is a standout dish. There’s a salad of honey, chilli and garlic-marinated octopus, and among the entrées the salmon and brie spring rolls with strawberry chilli sauce are a delight. Meat-eaters will love the prime eye fillet with peppery port sauce. Each dish has a suggested wine match, making for a perfect dining experience.
