Lake Binney camping area

Lake Binney is part of a chain of lakes regularly stocked with Atlantic salmon and 3 species of trout, making it one of Tasmania’s marvellous angling waters. There is camping near the boat ramp just off the highway as well as in bush sites along the eastern shore (access across the dam wall). The whole area is Hydro Tasmania land so you can’t stay for more than a week and you’ll need to bring your own water, firewood, portable toilet and fuel stove in case of fire bans. It is signposted off the Lyell Hwy (A10), 3 km south of Bradys Lake.
