Arve River picnic and camping area
Campsite
Along the Arve Rd, 14 km west of Geeveston, this streamside picnic and camping area is tucked away in a forest reserve beside the pretty Arve River. There are lovely spots to put up your tent as well as limited space for smaller campervans or caravans. Soak up the atmosphere of the surrounding tall wet forests along the nearby Arve River Nature Walk. Although it has come from Tasmania’s pristine alpine peaks, it is recommended the river water is boiled before drinking.
