Tahune Forest Reserve camping area
Campsite
In the forest beside the Tahune AirWalk carpark there are a handful of sites where you can set up camp in a campervan or caravan to enjoy this magnificent riverside reserve. If you’re looking for a tent site, head along the narrow dirt track beside the Huon River to secluded spots among the trees on the riverbank. There are facilities at the visitor centre and some firewood is supplied. River water should be boiled before drinking. Tahune AirWalk is at the junction of the Huon and Picton rivers, deep in the forest 28 km west of Geeveston, along the scenic Arve Rd.
