In the forest beside the Tahune AirWalk carpark, there are a handful of sites where you can set up camp in a campervan or caravan to enjoy this magnificent riverside forest and its teetering, cantilevered canopy walkway. The surface is gravel so although you could pitch a tent here it would be nicer to camp back at the Arve River Picnic Ground. There are facilities at the visitor centre and some firewood is supplied. River water should be boiled or treated before drinking. Tahune AirWalk is at the junction of the Huon and Picton rivers, deep in the forest 28 km west of Geeveston, along the scenic Arve Rd.
