Shot Tower

In the late 19th century, shot for firearms was made by pouring molten lead through colanders at the top of this tower. The droplets cooled as they fell to the bottom, landing in a tub of water and forming roughly round pellets. Kids will love the challenge of climbing and counting the 259 steps to the top.
