This camp at the eastern side of the Ironbound Range has plenty of sheltered sites among trees next to a creek. The 12 km track from Louisa River over the Ironbound Range is rough, steep and muddy on its descent into the camp, so allow 10 hr. To the east, the New River Lagoon stage is also a muddy 9 km (allow 4 hr). Bring a gas/fuel stove.
