South Coast Track - Southwest National Park

Variable weather conditions mean that the 85‑kilometre South Coast Track can take between six to nine days. Although rain may turn sections like South Cape Rivulet or the Ironbound Range into temporary barriers, walkers will be rewarded with incredible scenery. There are tannin-stained rivers trickling over smooth white beaches, and mountaintop views that extend over blue bays tiered with white foam. Along the South Coast Track you will traverse alpine vegetation, temperate rainforest and moorland, and feel humbled by the grandeur of nature. A flight must be arranged to or from Melaleuca, depending on the intended walking direction.
