Franklin Manor

On the outskirts of Strahan, this gorgeous boutique hotel’s distinguished restaurant offers big but familiar flavours, such as the baked pork fillet with a warm apple and mango pudding, Calvados brandy jus and Thai salad. Desserts may include a red berry crumble soufflé with cinnamon ice-cream, or a selection of Tasmanian cheeses. Some lucky diners have their meals served in the underground cellar, which is well stocked with Tasmanian wines.
