Lee Creek camping area
Campsite
Confusingly, the Lee Creek camping area is beside Sportsman Creek on Freestone Creek Rd. The Lee Creek area was the focus of intensive alluvial gold mining during the last decade of the 19th century, and it’s worth heading over to Alistair Fieldings to do a walking tour of old water races, dams and housing sites. This campground is 28 km north of Briagolong.
