The Quarries camping area
Campsite
The gravel Freestone Creek Rd slices roughly north–south through Briagolong State Forest, and it’s off this thin thoroughfare that the majority of the forest's campgrounds lie. The first one you reach when heading north from Briagolong is The Quarries, a favourite local swimming spot and the only camping area in the forest for which a fee is charged.
