Banksia Bluff is the campground at Cape Conran, where over 60 km of Bass Strait beaches are yours to explore. Plod around the boardwalk at East Cape and follow the nature trail to Joiners Channel, or take the Heathland Walk and try to spot some local goannas.

This popular but pleasant camping ground also offers cabins, and bookings are taken up to 12 months in advance. Swamp wallabies frequent the campground, and birdlife is abundant.

The boardwalk at East Cape gives access to and views of some very rugged and picturesque coastline, while inland walks traverse heathland. Nearby walks to the Yeerung River and gorge take you to deep, calm rockpools. While further afield, the Powerline track goes to Dock Inlet, a freshwater lagoon protected from the sea by sand dunes. There are also boat launching facilities nearby at West Cape.
