Coopracambra camping area (bush camping)
Bush camping in Coopracambra is an option for hikers or those steering 4WD vehicles. Experienced walkers literally go wild here, navigating their way up Mt Denmarsh and Mt Kaye, and stepping off the tracks to see what they can find. Note: the nearest facilities are in Cann River, so make sure you’re well-equipped to spend a night or more in the wild.

This campsite is located in Coopracambra National Park
In the isolated far east of Victoria, 30 km north of Cann River, lies Coopracambra National Park. Beehive Falls and the red sandstone gorge carved out by the Genoa River are two of the park’s standout attractions, along with enormous grey box trees, brilliant wildflowers and a sense of nature at its most pristine. The Monaro Hwy is the park’s main access route.
