These restful beachside campsites are in particularly great demand over Christmas and Easter, and it’s worth calling the ranger to check availability at other times. You can go boating and canoeing in the Snowy backwater and in Frenchs Narrows. Note: taking a dip at Corringle’s ocean beach is not recommended due to the strong rips.

This campsite is located in Corringle Foreshore Reserve

Set amidst knotted tea-trees at the mouth of the Snowy River, 18 km south of Newmerella, you can go surf-fishing in Bass Strait here and scramble along the foreshore opposite Marlo township, or take a boat back up the Snowy to Lake Corringle. To get here from Newmerella, take Corringle Rd from the Princes Hwy.
