Shipwreck Creek camping area
Campsite
Shipwreck Creek only has 5 campsites, set in forest above an isolated cove. The flat ground here makes setting up camp a breeze. Take a walk along the ocean beach and gaze out towards Gabo Island. You can also follow the 3 km trail over to Seal Creek, which is decorated with rockpools. From nearby Mallacoota, take Betka Rd and then Centre Track.
Isolated beaches between rugged headlands characterise the coastline here, with ample opportunities for fossicking amongst tide pools. The walk to Seal Creek traverses coastal banksia heath, home to many honeyeaters.
