Black Snake Creek camping area
Campsite
About 25 km north-west of Dargo, in an isolated area encircled by arms of Alpine National Park, is the Black Snake Creek camping area. It may not sound terribly enticing, but it’s a peaceful bush camping site that’s well off the beaten track. Anglers will appreciate the fact that it’s located at the junction of 2 watercourses: the Wonnangatta River and Black Snake Creek. Head down Wonnangatta Rd from Crooked River Rd to reach this place.
