Frosty Hollow is the only camping area within Errinundra National Park, although there are a couple of other sites just outside the park boundary. South of here down Hensleigh Creek Rd is Waratah Lookout, but the best views are from atop Mt Ellery in the south of the park. The star attraction, however, is the magical old forest – drive down Goonmirks Rocks Rd to see old-world mountain plum pines. Frosty Hollow is signposted off Coast Range Rd, or get here via Back Creek Rd from Bendoc.

This campsite is located in Errinundra National Park

The largest area of temperate rainforest in Victoria is protected within the confines of the tranquil but rugged Errinundra National Park. Set atop a plateau about 90 km north-east of Orbost, the park has brilliant lookouts and bushwalks. Visit during the warmer times of year, as the region is often sealed off by the weather in winter. Errinundra Saddle features signs detailing the history of the park, as well as a boardwalk through cool temperate rainforest.
