Bunga Arm, in the road-free western part of Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park, is a spit of sand that has built up between the ocean and Lake Victoria. There are 7 designated camping areas, each with a dozen campsites and basic facilities. The sites are only accessible by boat, and you need a permit to camp here (bookable through Bairnsdale office). Keen anglers will fix their sights on mullet, flathead and skipjack, and there’s also a designated waterskiing area offshore.

This campsite is located in Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park

This activity-laden coastal park favours a glorious stretch of Ninety Mile Beach extending from Seaspray to Lakes Entrance. It also takes in some watersports-happy lakes. Indulge in surf fishing, beach walking and waterskiing in this highly relaxing oceanfront environment. The Longford–Loch Sport Rd will take you to the western part of the park; the lake- and sea-fringed eastern section has boat access only.
