Not a name to conjure up visions of a romantic night under the stars, Haunted Stream is an old goldmining region about 25 km south of Swifts Creek. It's accessed along 4WD tracks – try Brookville or Angora Range roads from Swift Creek, or detour from the Omeo Hwy at Tambo Crossing onto Haunted Stream Track. You’ll find camping areas crowded with dense vegetation at the former Stirling and Dogtown sites.
