Ferryman’s Seafood Cafe

Walk over the gangplank to this floating restaurant for some of the freshest seafood around. Built on the pontoon base of a former Raymond Island car ferry, this seafood eatery has three sunny decks, including one that is heated and can be enclosed with blinds when the weather turns chilly. The restaurant works with three deep-sea trawlers to source fresh fish – hapuka, rockling, blue-eye, snapper and flathead tails. It is known for its fish and chips, seafood platters and bouillabaisse.
