Woolshed Creek is a walk-in campsite close to the southern end of the Mitchell River Walking Track. It’s only a short hike from here to the deep gully that hides the Den of Nargun, a cave where a fierce ancient creature resides, according to Aboriginal legend. The Gunai/Kurnai people request that you don’t enter this important Indigenous site, but simply admire it from outside. From the den, another walk leads up to the Bluff Lookout, which has views over the striking Mitchell River Gorge.
