Bentleys Plain Reserve camping area
Only a few hundred metres east of the better known Moscow Villa Hut, down Bentley Plain Rd, is the Bentleys Plain Reserve camping area. There’s a rustic old picnic shelter here on a grassy chunk of land corralled by a timber railing. Large gums dot the area and the enclosing bushland is as peaceful as can be – a good night’s sleep is practically guaranteed.

This campsite is located in Nunniong State Forest
Birdwatchers, hikers and 4WD-tourers flock to eucalypt-filled Nunniong, 35 km east of Swifts Creek via Nunniong Rd. There’s plenty of history in these hills, notably Moscow Villa Hut, built by forestry man Bill Ah Chow back in the 1940s. Nunniong Rd is off Bindi Rd, 8 km from Swifts Creek via the Omeo Hwy.
