Ninety Mile Beach
Back to nature
An endless expanse of unspoilt golden sands, lapping waves, dolphins … and hardly a soul in sight! The fine sand harbours more animals per square metre than most other marine habitats in the world, so look for tiny creatures scurrying and burrowing. Warning: this is a potentially hazardous (and often windy) ocean beach; while small sections are patrolled during peak seasons, do not come here in search of calm waters.
