A Chinese settlement was located at Surface Point in the gold-rush days, and there’s still some evidence of it scattered throughout the bush. Try your hand at fossicking along Misery Creek – don’t let the name deter you – or take long walks around the park. Note: when walking, stick to the tracks, as mine shafts are hidden in the surrounding terrain.
