This campsite is located in Mount Cole State Forest

Sizeable Mt Cole State Forest is bordered by Mt Buangor State Park to the west, and cedes some territory in the south to pine plantations. Four-wheel-driving is a popular activity in the thick of the forest, while horseriders also make their way along the local tracks. Some excellent bushwalks round out the area’s attractions. The forest is 25 km north-west of Beaufort. Turn off the Western Hwy towards Raglan, where you pick up the Mt Cole Rd.
