Nevins Bend camping areas
Campsite
A drive or cycle of 11 km to the west of Yarrawonga will bring you to the camping areas at Nevins Bend – turn off the Murray Valley Hwy onto Thoms Rd. If you were to continue down the highway for a few kilometres past the turn-off, you’d reach Byramine Homestead. Set within a grove of elm trees, Byramine was built in 1842 and has an octagonal central room, designed so that bushrangers and other enemies could be seen approaching from any direction.
