The only camping area in Leaghur State Park is at the southern end of Lake Meran, at the northern edge of the park. You get here by following the Chamberlain and Lake Meran tracks from the park entrance, and then turning north onto Vallance Track. To complete a tour of the flood plain, from the Vallance Track intersection, continue south-east down Dairy Track and then veer south-west down Main Track.

This campsite is located in Leaghur State Park

Situated on the flood plain of the Loddon River, Leaghur State Park is the preserve of black box woodlands and is a great place for a picnic and an overnight camp. A relaxing scenic drive follows a roughly triangular route around the area. The park is 25 km south-west of Kerang, signposted off the Kerang–Boort Rd. At the time of writing, there was a blue-green algal bloom affecting Lake Meran, south-west of Kerang. As a result, activities such as swimming and fishing were being strongly discouraged by Parks Victoria. Call them for the latest.
