Letizia’s Cafe Bar & Restaurant

This central restaurant has two levels of dining: a family-friendly ground floor and a romantic basement cellar. Owners chef Mario and pastry chef Joanne Letizia offer a contemporary cross-cultural menu that reflects Mario’s Asian and Italian heritage, and valuable time spent running the Japanese section of celebrated Anton Mosimann’s London restaurant. Dishes are designed to be shared, with three different bento boxes and four different table platters: yum cha, kebabs, antipasto and fresh king prawns. Known for their seafood, they do a roaring trade in whole crayfish and their version of reef and beef with king prawns, scallops and a half crayfish atop a thick-cut rib-eye fillet. Locals know to keep room for Joey’s indulgent chocolate desserts. Complimentary yum cha is served from 5pm to 7pm on Fridays.
