It is hard not to be impressed by the setting of the Terrace Restaurant, located in a mock Scottish castle built in 1880 at All Saints winery. But the brick-floored restaurant does not rest on its location laurels and has a well-deserved reputation as being one of the region’s best and most consistent performers. The menu visits both Asia and Europe – the hoi sin–lacquered duck is a particular highlight – and there is a seven-course degustation option that is matched with All Saints and neighbouring St Leonard’s vineyards’ wines. There are also separate menus for vegetarians and children.
