The campsites here on the shoreline of Greenhill Lake are relatively flat, and there’s reasonable shade. From the centre of Ararat, drive for 4 km along the Western Hwy towards Beaufort and turn north on Greenhill Lake Rd; the camping area is 200 m further on, over the railway line. Note: camp only where sites are signposted.
