Borough Huts camping area
Campsite
Borough Huts is 10 km south of Halls Gap, just off Grampians Rd. In between these two places you’ll find lovely Lake Bellfield, which makes for a fantastic canoeing trip, due in no small part to the grand views of the surrounding mountains. The campground’s dozen or so sites are down by picturesque Fyans Creek; despite the name, there are no huts here.
This is a pleasant camping area, with sites set near and around a large grassed clearing next to the seasonal Fyans Creek. Birdlife is abundant here and this is the closest camping area to Mt William, which is useful if you wish to catch the sunrise from the summit, though a drive is still necessary to the end of the summit road.
