Campsite
The Plantation area is the Grampians’ biggest campground, providing around 30 sites in a pine forest at the northern edge of the national park (technically, just outside it), at the foot of the Mt Difficult Range. In eucalypt forest just north of here is the historic Heatherlie Quarry, where prized freestone was dug up a century ago. Head north from Halls Gap on the Halls Gap–Mt Zero Rd and turn east on Pines Rd.
