Mountain Dam camping area
Situated on the northern shore of Rocklands Reservoir and squeezed up against Black Range State Park, this campground has wood-fired BBQs, picnic tables and a boat ramp. Access is from Rocklands–Cherrypool Rd. Walkers should head further north along this road to the Black Range picnic ground, where a long, scenic walk on the Black Range commences.

This campsite is located in Rocklands State Forests
The large Rocklands Reservoir is at the centre of this grouping of forests, which lies just to the west of Grampians National Park. Most of the campsites here are spread out in the woodlands fringing the reservoir. Access is mainly from the Rocklands–Cherrypool Rd in the west, and the Henty Hwy in the east.
