Brooks River Reserve camping area
Campsite
To reach this compact camping area, head north-west out of historic Alexandra township on the Maroondah Hwy and turn west on Swanns La, which leads down to the banks of the Goulburn River. There are fireplaces here but you’ll need to lug in your own firewood. The fishing gets competitive when the trout season begins.
