This campsite is located in Buckland Valley State Forest

The valley hewn by the Buckland River stretches between a pair of great wilderness areas: Mt Buffalo National Park to the north, and Alpine National Park to the south. Few camping facilities are on offer in the forest here, 22 km south-west of Bright, but it’s a good place for 2WD touring, as well as swimming and fishing.
