It was gold that drew people to the Buckland River in the 1850s, but now it’s the scenic landscape of Victoria’s High Country that attracts visitors. Maguire’s Point, 18 km down Buckland River Rd from the Great Alpine Rd intersection, is a spacious and grassy riverside camping area. Note: the access road can be rough depending on weather conditions.
