This campsite is located in Buttercup Creek Reserve

This restful reserve is embedded in forest about 25 km east of Mansfield. Touring by 4WD is popular on nearby trails, as is fishing in the local waterways. You can take a conventional vehicle and caravan down the Mansfield–Mount Buller Rd and turn onto Carters Rd east of Merrijig; or there’s a tougher route in from the east via Buttercup Rd.
