The Dogs Grave monument site could be called the Tomb of the Unknown Dog – does it mark the grave of Boney the cattle dog, or Angus the Smithfield heeler? Regardless of which local story is true, this remains a decent off-the-beaten-track camping spot. It’s 35 km west of Swifts Creek – from Cassilis Rd, take Upper Livingstone Rd and then Birregun Rd.
